Warhammer 40K Championships

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Michigan GT and our 40K Championships! Come join us on October 7 and 8 in Lansing, Michigan, as we once again celebrate all aspects of the Warhammer 40K hobby. This year, 200 players will compete to earn points in Battle, Appearance, and Theme, to determine who will win top honors over 2 days and 5 games of 10th Edition Warhammer 40K!  As you might expect, the 2023 Michigan GT 40K Championships will recognize not just our Overall Champion, Warmaster (best general), and Drillmaster (best theme and appearance), but also the best players from the factions that make up the Warhammer 40K universe!

This year, the Michigan GT 40K Championships is excited to be one of the last qualifiers for Games Workshop’s inaugural World Championships of Warhammer, with not one, but TWO Golden Tickets to award! Both our Overall Champion and Warmaster will receive entry to the World Championships of Warhammer in Atlanta, GA on November 16-19. In addition to the Golden Tickets, Michigan GT will also partially subsidize the travel expenses of our World Championships qualifiers.

The Michigan GT 40K Championships will also continue to participate in the Independent Tournament Circuit and Great Lakes Tournament Circuit, giving all of our players the opportunity to earn points in both tournament circuits.

Players will bring 2000 point armies built under the 10th Edition Warhammer 40K rules.  Full event rules for the 2023 Michigan GT Warhammer 40K Championships will be released within 2 weeks of the release of the 10th Edition of Warhammer 40K.
